Husky Mounts 400X400 Articulating Bracket Review

Overall good value for money, solid wall mount. Came up fairly easily but using a hole template would have been nice as it's a little tricky to align, hold in place and mark the holes (I installed it myself). I would also suggest spraying some lube on all the joints as they were very stiff and made my TV look like it was flexing too much when moving on the mount. Although WD40 Jel worked great. Now it moves nice and smooth with a lot less effort!

I love this mount. I used it over my fireplace. I drilled through the grout and used anchors to hold it in place. The mount says it can hold a much heavier TV, but my LG 50-inch Smart TV is only 23 pounds, so no problem. A company shouldn't advertise this mount as "Full Motion". For someone who doesn't make a living installing TVs, I assumed it was indeed a complete move. I wanted the mount to raise and lower the TV. Turns out that's not a possibility. 180 degree tilt does not mean full movement. Also check the movement of the levers before installation. It was incredibly difficult for me to adapt. I bought this mount for a 48" Samsung TV (weighing about 30lbs) without realizing it was the wrong VESA mount (400 x 400 mount but 600 x 400 TV). I contacted the company to see what my options are. Bracket received in good condition and fits the TV perfectly. Installation was more of a problem. The included hardware for attaching the studs was insufficient as the screws weren't long enough. It is very important that you follow the instructions when ordering and installing on the wall. We love this mountain. The best quality of it is the ability to formulate. It was the only thing I really wanted so I could watch TV while cooking in the kitchen. BF loves now that I wanted this feature. We always move the TV.
