Subpar Sander for Industrial Work

This air sander was a huge disappointment for my industrial needs. The dust collection was non-existent and made a huge mess. I appreciate the affordable price tag, but the lack of power and durability made it not worth the investment.

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Poor dust collection and lack of power.

DON'T LEAVE - Buy Dynabrade!

Thank god for the "retribution" achieved by writing a review. I bought this grinder after it got a high rating on a bodywork forum. I received it and immediately found that it had no power. I make signs for a living and use multiple sanders to sand all types of materials: plywood, high density urethane, aluminum and steel. I am not writing as a landlord. I needed it to function just like my old Dynabrade. I sent it back to the manufacturer and they sent it back - still not enough power…

Pros
  • Sanders
Cons
  • I will write later

Great grinder but not the right one

First off let me say that I love Hutchins grinders and would rather pay more for them than any other brand. Before I got this grinder I had a 3500 which I liked but found it a bit heavy and had a 3/32 orbit so I needed something for bodywork. The 600 is much lighter than the 3500 (less than 2 pounds I think) and is said to be very aggressive. blows Bondo like there's no tomorrow. When I first got the new grinder I didn't really like it as it takes a bit of getting used to after using the 3500…

Pros
  • Orbital Sander
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
