Does keep the light out. White is white only issue it came with a few spots and fabric does crease so I had to spend time ironing them.

We are in an apartment that has windows faces west. We needed something that will help block out the heat and also happen to blackout a lot of the light. We came across these on revain and couldn’t be happier. With no-no brackets, we hung three panels (haven’t ironed them yet so bear with the wrinkles!) and love the effect. For the first time since we moved in two weeks ago, our air conditioner finally shut off as it was able to keep the apartment cool. Plan to order more for the other Windows.

As you can see from the pictures, which were taken moments apart, even though these curtains are lightweight and sheer, they provide a good amount of darkening. Also protects from viewing in the room from outside the house. They are very pretty and just what I needed.

The curtains are great for the price. They darken the room perfect, also have a white liner which will do the trick and make them look white when hung.We bought some curtains that were white from BBB but with a black back and when hung they made curtains look grey, plus paid 4xs the price.

Great curtains! This is my second time purchasing these. I've bought 6 panels total. It does keeps the light out and makes the room darker; only little bit of light that shines through is from the top of the curtains where the rods is. Very happy with my purchase.

These curtains are beautiful! Ordered the white on white curtains in 108” length. I wouldn’t say they are "black out” curtains, but they are room darkening. Not bad for white on white curtains. I imagine that the darker color curtains are more blackout. We use these in a bedroom. They look nice. I ordered white with white backing. They do not do a good job blocking sunlight, but I kept them anyway. I had ordered a patio door curtain (also white/white) from the same company that does an excellent job blocking light and had hoped these would be same but they were not.

I absolutely love these drapes. They feel so luxurious. They are heavy and they look so expensive. They are really great blackout drapes. I did make the mistake of not getting a curtain rod that extended around the window as well so light does peak through the sides of the drapes but that has nothing to do with the drapes that was my mistake with a curtain rod. Ordered these for my apartment in Mexico. I wanted semi blackout, something that would block the heat and sun but would still allow some light in and these are perfect. Good value, excellent quality for the price and fast shipping.

I had purchased a white with white liner and you could still see some sunlight. I returned that and got white with black liner and it does block out the sunlight very well. The white with black liner does appear a tad on the gray side but room has gray on the walls so it still matches well.

Very pleased with these drapes. Only issue is that they were very wrinkled out of the package. I used a hand held steamer after they were hung and now they look great. I have 6 eighty four inch panels, and each one took a full chamber of water.

Absolutely love these curtains. I get a lot of sun in my room and these block the sun and helps keep my room warm or cold, depending if I have my a/c on or heater on. It’s a great buy.
