Saved my mailbox: Reflectors

Put a post on the mailbox outside the curve. This is a country road so there are no lights. Cars pass, we approach and a couple pulls out the steering wheel on the last B4 arch and hits my box. Added these. Now no one comes to the edge. Very thoughtful.

good value for money good for external accessories

Used on a telephone pole where 2 people have fallen and died in the last 2 years. The city wouldn't do anything, so I figured I would. Seems to be working fine. I hope this helps drivers, god bless you. You can't see them at about 75 meters in the dark.

Cons

Great price and seems like good quality

Delivery drivers can't help but run out of my way and bang on the water pipe so I put the 4x4 in the ground and added these reflectors. They reflect the light well at night and did a great job of keeping an eye on the riders on the tarmac and not crashing into the mud.

Great little item! for Reflectors

Ordered these but had them delivered to my nephew in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He installed them in his daughter's (my grandniece's) driveway and they work well. They were meant for me but gave the wrong shipping address, but I'm glad I did because they help my relatives a lot. Thank you Jensen.

Safety reflectors mark lanes at night

I noticed reflectors marking lanes on dark country roads and thought it was a good idea. They are large and can be nailed to a wooden post like the one that supports my mailbox. There are two of them so you can use both or place them on opposite sides for movement from different directions. The downside is that you have to nail them to a tree.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great reflectors! in safety

These reflectors are the same as any other reflectors I have installed over the years. Good quality and very good reflectivity! Very fast delivery. I use them on my mailboxes and driveway signs, fence posts etc. They last many years but not forever. In the end, UV rays get a white plastic frame. Will buy again if I need more.

Good size but obviously not unbreakable

I like the size. It's the perfect size and reflects well. My problem is that it's not indestructible. As I walked down the driveway to hang them on my mailbox post, I dropped one. It broke when it hit the concrete. A fall from 1.20 meters crushed him. Imagine trying to hang a reflector with a hammer and nails. It obviously wouldn't survive. So if you want to use it, make sure you use screws.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Not sure

But works fine. Best Outdoor Accessories

This is my second purchase. I use these reflectors on my rural delivery mailbox to discourage my blind or drunk neighbors from running over my mailbox. They must work because I only had to reinstall the pole once last year! One point of criticism: plastic becomes brittle after exposure to the weather. When the rod REALLY hits, these things shatter like glass. Also: Be sure to use aluminum screws or nails to avoid rusting.

  • Free for educational purposes
