This is a good hole saw set if you read the info on the materials it is for. Don't expect to use this on some heavy duty plastic and thin wood. If you have to go through something substantial, you'll need a much stronger set or hole saw to suit your needs.

I needed a 4" hole saw to mount the signal light ring. In HD it would cost the same for a 4" as it did for this whole set. I figured even if I had a 4" siding slot I would still be ahead I cut 2 holes and had no problems Went through like clockwork and cut through the entire wall I had to clean the hole saw after each shift (pretty flat) but it didn't make much of a difference .Very happy with this purchase.

10 minutes drilled a hole in a 3/4 inch thick piece of pine. It's all off-center and wobbles, ensuring my hole isn't perfectly round or smooth. The set screw came loose several times, dislodging the bit from the hole saw portion and requiring disassembly and reassembly while drilling a hole.
