Great for chocolate work.

I use this for chocolate work, and works very well. Sheetrocking.I'd guess it works great, especially with the stainless blade.

Pros
  • Well made tool and a much better purchase than a cheap knife from a big box store.
Cons
  • The stainless steel blade may become slippery or difficult to grip if hands or work surfaces become moist or sweaty

Hyde Tools! good for me

Stainless steel, and a quality tool. My widest taping/joint compound knife/blade was a stainless steel 10" and having smoothed old lath and plaster work in my old house several times before I opted for an even wider blade. I also treated myself to a 13" aluminum hawk by Goldblatt from Revain.I have just finished the second skim-coat in the last room of my house that had wallpaper.
