Works well: Spare parts

Easy to install and works well after pumping to stop cart. I The fact that it includes and installs a brake light switch. Good value for money.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Upgrades

Works, doesn't quite fit, leaks

Worked on our old Hammerhead kart but had to reuse old parts to get it working as other reviewers mentioned. In addition, after installation, some liquid escapes "at the back" where the pistons are pushed in. I don't want to bother with the re-exchange so I'll live with it. We'll see if it holds, but this leak makes me suspicious of holding pressure.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Some bugs

The mounting surface diameter is a bit large and difficult to pump

There is a raised circular surface around the pistons that protrudes slightly through the master cylinder mounting surface. It's a millimeter or two in diameter, so it needs to be lightly filed to fit through the hole in the mounting surface. The master cylinder has two hydraulic circuits with separate pistons. I advise you not to connect the brake pedal until you have completely bled each circuit individually. If the brake is applied at the brake pedal, bleeding one circuit will harden theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Compatibility
