💧 Enhance Water Purity with Hydronix HG CB6 Carbon Filter System Review

I really wanted this to work because it's half the price of my Multiclean filter. Reviews were mixed and I regret taking the risk. The water had a really bad taste. I was careful installing it for 20 minutes hoping everything would be ok but no luck it comes back and I'll buy 100% Multipure again.

We tried it and after two months ordered a real Multipure filter. This leaves a metallic aftertaste in the water and does not filter out the smell and taste of chlorine very well. Not worth the money - Multipure will cost you $80 but will last you a full year. I had to change them every month. I throw the remaining 2 packs in the trash can.

Unfortunately nobody read my return information. I clean my device like I always do, wash with bleach etc. put in this filter which looks shiny and a bit dirty. I ran water through the filter for 43 minutes. It's longer than the 30 minute requirement and the water smelled and tasted terrible. It smelled very bad. Now I have to buy back the filter and clean my block again due to wasted time. And I need to buy bottled water until I can sort this out.

A few years ago, Multipure stopped offering their replacement filters for Revain. Started with this filter. When I first installed it, there were white and brown particles in the water I got from the filter. This seemed to stop after a few weeks of use, although it did come back from time to time.
