They are great. Gave it to my 8 year old for Christmas. It's not even February yet and she's filled most of them with interesting, creative little stories. I really like the size, they are great for putting a pencil in your pocket and pulling it out when you have to wait somewhere for a while. could even be seen with these mini photo albums, although the paper may not be thick enough for them.

I thought they were bigger. My fault for not checking the size before ordering. Lies in your hand like a book. My granddaughter is very good at drawing so I bought them for her to make picture books for her family and friends. The pages are not glossy. It's more like a handcrafted book with heavier card stock for the cover and heavier carbon paper for the insides. I will not order them again.
