I bought this to use in my chicken egg incubator. It works very well and is accurate compared to other digital thermometer hygrometer and regular thermometer. It only displays the temperature in degrees Celsius. I would give 5 stars if it had a Fahrenheit reading.

Bought this terrarium for my snake terrarium after having problems with the previous setup. This hygrometer thermometer is great. It's precise and small, so it doesn't take up much space. The cable is very long so I can easily place the sensor in the tank and put the display on a shelf a few feet away. I would recommend.

Looks pretty much the same! I use it to determine the humidity in my reptile tank. One thing I didn't like that much was that there wasn't an on/off switch between the batteries or a piece of plastic to stop it from working and when I opened it up it was already on; I don't know how long the batteries will last, but it sucks if they die in a day or two. Otherwise it works quite well!

The temperature part was always pretty accurate but I always felt the humidity was about 10% lower. I've only had it for about 7 months and some of the humidity is now completely useless as it's not even remotely true (e.g. 17% when the humidity is closer to 70%). If you want a cheap, temporary one, then maybe that's fine, but it's no good for long-term projects where you need ultra-precise humidity.

Edit: I'm still not sure why it read 99.9 in humidity after the first night, but I left it alone, plugged it in and let it go a few days he testified again. I didn't buy another one to show accuracy but it at least gives me an idea of when to spray my tank which is why I got it. For this reason I have updated the stars/review. The humidity is now only 99.9. after the first night. Very disappointed, I hoped it lived up to the hype.

I need a few to keep my guitar cases wet but I wanted to try one first. Yes, they only show the temperature in Celsius, but only the humidity really bothers me, so that's not a problem for me. I bought this to use as my only temperature and humidity gauge in a 3x3 cannabis tent and it's safe to say you get what you pay for! While it works well as advertised, don't rely solely on this device if you need very accurate temperature and humidity readings.
