🚗 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Wing Rear Trunk Emblem - Genuine and Compatible! Review

Almost perfect. I actually took it to a body shop and they installed it for free. Only problem is the posts don't match the holes. There are too far apart. But they cut the posts and just used 3M glue. Worked great and looks great.

Installed today. So far 5 stars for the grip. Let's see how it holds up. It has 3M glue on it so I assume it works fine. 2 stars for easy installation as the pillars on the back can be easily adjusted to the holes of the previous Hyundai emblem. It's really eye work.

I am satisfied with my purchase. The product arrived as described. My Genesis came with the original Hyundai logo screwed onto the car. As soon as I took it off, I saw that the "cutouts, bolts, pins" (or whatever you call it) in the Genesis logo weren't in the same place as the holes in the car under the Hyundai "H" " logo . Works great! Marked as an emblem on the trunk with original Korean Hyundai markings. The same product is sold at the dealer but for 25% of the cost. The tabs were very easy to remove and fit perfectly. Three hints: 1) You will need to remove the tabs with a knife/scissors/screwdriver and file - it's not difficult. Like some others, I was very annoyed that the tabs were NOT removed because the item name clearly states: **Ready to install No tabs**no modification**. This is just a blatant misrepresentation of facts. I suspect they're betting on what the end user has and wouldn't mind using a Dremel tool to remove the tabs themselves and/or don't want to return an item that small. Do not believe other reviews on this product. It will not fit on the tailgate of a 2015 Genesis. I removed my factory emblem and found that the mounting holes in the trunk lid did not line up with the pillar. Unfortunately, at this point I had two holes in the trunk lid that had to be patched to keep water out. So I removed the pillars, which is easy, but the back of the emblem doesn't match the curve of the trunklid. I pressed it down, but the glue doesn't stick around the entire perimeter…
