Simply sit on the open bottle and press the button a few times, done. Works smoothly and hassle-free. I was expecting it to be smaller to fit only medium sized wine bottles but it is big enough to fit large bottles. I also plan to see if this works on soda bottles. The wine bottle has a sealed cap. It was very easy to remove. I particularly like how the button on top sucks all the extra air out of the bottle with little to no effort. It's not as difficult to use as I thought it would be. The silver color looks high quality and feels great in the hand. It's quite compact, but serves its purpose.

This wine stopper was just what I was looking for to keep the wine fresh as I only drink one glass a night. All you have to do is place a pump on a wine bottle and pump out the air to slow down the oxidation process. My wine stays fresh and doesn't leak because it's sealed. I checked that it actually keeps the wine fresh for 2 weeks and surprisingly it does! I will be buying this as a Birthday/Christmas gift for my family members who love wine. I think you will like it as much as I do.

I have found this to be very effective in preserving the flavor of the wine. I also keep wine in the fridge after I've put the cork on. This gadget is excellent and at a very reasonable price. It also seems solid; made of stainless steel, no cheap construction! It's also a great gift for wine lovers.
