10/25/2018 and the rain in Seattle is back!

Seattle has had better weather than most of the US this year, but it's raining again today, and not anytime soon for me. I bought this bag specifically for heavy rain and it exceeded my expectations. However, I didn't do that well. With a cold and a sinus headache, I rode my bike home. From the constructive side; I wish it was wider and the side pockets bigger. The crease at the top is meant to drain the rain, but the velcro under the crease snaps horizontally. I believe there could be 2 or 3…

Roomy bag that goes well with PakRak

The PakRak system is the best quick release bike bag system in my opinion. I use Ibera saddlebags and this bag on my touring bike along with an Ibera PakRak rack and the separate panniers are easy to put on and take off. It's relatively easy to remove and is actually completely waterproof - one of my gutters collapsed over it and poured about 200 liters of water on it in 10 minutes (clean your gutters folks) and everything in it was dry. My only complaint is that the top flap is held in place…

Great idea with imperfect design

I'll start by loving the design of this bag. Unfortunately, it has a number of disadvantages, including the fact that it can fly off the trunk when driving over bumps. Benefits ⦁ Very convenient bike carrier attachment system ⦁ Position means less drag compared to a traditional pannier ⦁ Good water resistance ⦁ Decently sized main pocket.
