Love it. best in Active

These shirts are great, just keep in mind that the Icebreaker cut animation is pretty tight (more than skin-tight, but not compressive). This is a size to wear as a first layer. So if you even wear them over a t-shirt, I would go one size up from your normal size without an icebreaker. It's perfect for keeping in your bag before a flight or when the nights start to get a little chilly. Very thin so not very warm but very soft and comfortable. Like all merino fabrics, it has good odor resistance

Beautiful Iceland! for active base layers

Our family just spent 11 days in Iceland and is thrilled to have the base layer - Merino menswear - underneath my other two layers.

Not what I expected - very thin fabric

It wasn't quite what I expected. I have several Smartwool shirts in 250 and 150. I thought it was comparable to Smartwool 250 but it is thinner than 150. I bought this one thinking I could wear it like a regular shirt but it is too thin for this purpose. Now I see 150 in the product description but it's not obvious.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A bit torn

Comfortable, light base layer, very figure-hugging.

This lightweight 150 base layer is super comfortable, wicks moisture when you sweat and keeps you warm in cool weather. Icebreaker's anatomical fit hugs your figure. No compression, but if you're overweight to any degree in the mid-tear area, this shirt will tell you so. Icebreaker Oasis shirts are softer and warmer in cold temperatures.

Cons
  • A few little things

Love it. in Men's

These shirts are great, just keep in mind that the Icebreaker animation is pretty tight (more than tight but not compressive). This is a size to wear as a first layer. So if you even wear them over a t-shirt, I would go one size up from your usual non-icebreaker size. It's perfect for keeping in your bag before a flight or when the nights start to get a little chilly. Very thin so not very warm but very soft and comfortable. Like all merino fabrics, it has good odor resistance so you can wear…
