Description of 🔥 IcePC M.2 PCIe NVMe 2280 SSD with Graphene Coating Copper Heatsink - High Performance SSD Cooler for Laptop PC 2280 NGFF Solid State Disk (70x20x4mm) with Thermal Pad

Graphene is the most efficient heat conductor in the world,Its thermal conductivity can reach 5300W/m·K, pure copper only 386.4W/m·K and aluminum only 237 2W/m·K. You can use the temperature software to test the temperature before and after installation, you will find that it is more efficient than other radiators. M.2 Heatsinks : for 2280 size (22x80mm) M.2 NVME SSD, like SN750, 850 EVO, 860 EVO, 960 EVO, 970 EVO, 950 PRO, 960 PRO, 970PRO,PM981 etc. This radiator is suitable for Laptop and some narrow spaces, and through the professional air duct design, it increases the contact area with air for heat exchange, and it can dissipate heat more quickly. The slanted slot design provides a more aesthetically pleasing installation display. The ilicone thermal pad enables you to fix the radiator on SSD easily without any tools. Please place the silicone cooling pad between the heat sink and the SSD to prevent damage to the SSD and protect the particles of the SSD, which can effectively extend the life of your SSD.

Ultra thin and works great

This (2mm) installed on 2 separate M.2s in very small places. The Gigabyte x570-I board has almost no room for a front M.2 due to the layout. The rear m.2 is located between the mainboard and the case, so it is also very thin. Managed to install this cooler due to its size. Immediately noticed a drop of 15-20 degrees.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Does its job well. - Internals

My Crucial 1TB NVMe drive got very hot with moderate usage. According to HWInfo64, it sometimes reached 96C on the controller chip. In the heat, the drive slowed down from 1.5 GB/s to 50 MB/s. Installed this little heatsink and the same drive load dropped to 77C. Drop almost 20C. Clearly - if you need an NVMe heatsink, this little thing works as expected.

Pros
  • Ease of Use
Cons
  • Interval

Great for laptops but be patient

Was skeptical based on other reviews. The strips look like they will hold up, but I figured they might impede airflow inside the laptop. At first there was no noticeable temperature change - at least it seemed to rise by 1 degree Celsius. Although it's a noticeable difference after a few gaming sessions. It is now about 13 degrees less when idling and about 11 degrees less under full load. Absolutely to recommend.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

Significant temperature reduction

Unbeatable for the price. Used it on a Samsung 970 Evo Plus which is on the back of an ASRock motherboard. According to the Samsung Magician (SM), the average operating temperature before installation was 53 degrees Celsius. The average temperature after installation is 44 degrees C. This is enough for the reading on the SM chart to change from "too high” to "normal”. Good for peace of mind if not more. Highly recommended.

  • Easy installation

Aftermarket Best Passive Cooling Solution

I chose this solution for my Sabrent PCIe 4.0 drive. The temperature dropped slightly by about 20 degrees. It was perfect to fit under the large water block on my mobo after some wobbling. A small fan is added and the drive runs 20-30 degrees cooler than the original, maximizing my x370 transfer bandwidth at 3546MB/s. I also got one for my HP Specter360. The larger sink was a little cramped but no problem in the end! I cannot recommend these radiators above!

Pros
  • Great for a Small Home
Cons
  • Everything is Great

First I used ELUTENG M.2 2280 heatsink. There were 2 problems with ELUTENG: 1- It is 2mm higher and it hits the bottom of the laptop body. I confirmed this by applying some thermal paste and seeing where it met. 2. 2 very thick silicone straps were used to attach it to the disc. The stripes are above the radiator, making it even higher. I've always suspected the tapes act as an insulator, blocking airflow and not strong enough to make a good connection to the heatsink (Thermal Grizzly…

10°C+ temperature reduction

*NVMe Icepc SSD heatsink, 70*20*2mm* This heatsink might not look like much, but it works! I installed the Samsung 970 Evo in an M.2 slot on the back of my motherboard where there is absolutely no airflow. The motherboard cutout on the case also covered half of the slot, so I needed a thin heatsink to fit between the mobile device and the case plate. Enter this beauty. After a few rubber bands I lowered the load temperature from throttling from 80°C to 70°C and the idle temperature from 60°C to

Ideal for an abandoned rear M.2 slot

Pictured is a 4mm model that barely fits on the back of my motherboard when cleaning the case (seems to be a <1mm gap with the goodisory sr01 mini itx case and the asrock b550i motherboard). You may need to use the 2mm model on some configurations, but try the 4mm model first! Otherwise the quality is good. Installing with the included straps is a bit odd, but I don't have a better solution that's this compact. Comes with good thermal paste. I haven't run any tests but I would go for…

Pros
  • The slanted slot design provides a more aesthetic look when installed. The silicone thermal pad makes it easy to attach the heatsink to your SSD without tools.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Temperature drop 10℃+

*icepc 70*20*2mm NVMe SSD Heatsink* This heatsink might not look like much, but it works! I installed the Samsung 970 Evo in the M.2 slot on the back of the motherboard where there is no air at all. The motherboard cutout on the case also covered half of the slot, so I needed a thin heatsink to fit between the mobile device and the case plate. Enter this beauty. Through a couple of rubber bands I got the load temp down from throttling at over 80C to 70C and the idle temp from 60C to around 50C.

Pros
  • Put a silicone cooling pad between the heatsink and SSD to prevent damage to the SSD and protect the SSD particles, which can effectively extend the life of your SSD.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
