As it's early I'm only giving 4 stars. We connected it to the mains and had to wait for a new motor. We received the motor and hooked it up to the power connectors on this controller. The motor is not yet connected and the sprocket/shaft sprocket has not yet arrived. I originally ordered 4 of these controllers, two of which had no fans so I requested replacements which I received. In total I now have 7 such controllers, none of which work properly. I could get a refund for all of them if I had a chance to test them sooner and knew the ones with fans are bad too. I ran a test with a 450w 25vdc brushed motor and two 12v batteries in series.
