Not even close to the description

The product received was not even close to the description or the image in the photos. I have ordered twice. The first time I ordered two sets. Only received one set, one with plug and one with socket. Thought I misread the description. Ordered five more thinking I would get at least two more of what I needed, no I got 5 fancy short CAT 5/6 cables!

Works great in network adapters

Just what I need to mount two ADT cameras. I have two cameras that I bought from ADT a few years ago. When the installers in Hawaii sold me cameras, they didn't leave me an adapter. Now that I'm in Maryland I need an adapter as ADT no longer sells the camera models that required them. They arrived the next day after ordering. ADT technology is back and had no trouble getting the cameras to work.

Disconnect BOTH ends of the cable, plug in the adapters BEFORE you turn on the power or very bad things can happen

The first install is perfect. Second Setup I casually plugged in the power on one side before unplugging the AT&T cable modem on the other side. Melting has occurred in the modem. Turned off immediately. the modem still works (fingers crossed). Haven't tried it yet, but I guess you have to be very careful connecting the adapters to BOTH sides of the cable BEFORE using POE or face to face with magic smoke. Very important!
