Bad description.

This is not the product I want as it lists a 2.5" drive and is one of the few drives that is actually an M.2 -SSD includes Don't call it SATA unless you have two separate connectors. Waste of money and time to use this for cloning M.2. Tired of Ice Dock with their inappropriate antics.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Don't really like it's ok

Make your M.2 2280 detachable

I put it in a 2.5" Syba U2 mobile rack with a 3.5 to 5.25 converter. I used a DiLinKer M.2 to U.2 cable to connect to the M.2 slot on my motherboard. Now we have an easily detachable M2 2280. It's worth noting that the mobile rack requires SATA power for the M2 to work, which was a bonus for me to then be able to turn it on or off with my KingWin 6 SATA power button . I use Y-power cables to connect one set of drives to one switch and the other sets to different switches, which makes it easy to

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Annoys

As the era of the full SSD is fast approaching, you can also use this SSD to the full in a conventional 2.5" hard drive bay Although SSD only communicates at SATA-II speeds (because it doesn't connect to a direct PCIe interface), it will still be a very fast little devil and never add latency to the SATA-II interface, which is a very good one Use for an earlier model M SSD .2 that you have on hand at all times and it's good to reuse that storage potential, try it, you'll love it!

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • No

U.2 connector not SATA

The product is probably fantastic but I was looking for an enclosure to switch from a Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe V-NAND SSD M Key 250Gb upgrade a Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 NVMe V- NAND SSD M Key 1TB to connect SSD for cloning via SATA. It has a U.2 connector, not SATA. I'm still trying to find an internal M.2 NVMe V-NAND M Key for a SATA enclosure. I found a USB solution that saved my day. Very easy to use item and no screws.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
