I ordered this because I thought one of the SATA data connections on my Kingwin unit was broken - see looks like it's a SATA port on the motherboard. I've tried the more popular dual-bay version of the detachable SSD/HDD docking station, and due to a design flaw, it breaks off very easily due to the thin center support bar in the SATA -Connectors (which I did and). The SATA ports on the side of the device seem to need some sort of surrounding wall for support in addition to the center bar.
