This mat works great! I have outlets in my bathroom drawers so I can plug my curling iron in (but off) and store it in this bag. Then when I use my iron, this bag acts as a mat to protect my marble countertops from heat damage. And when I'm traveling, it's a very handy accessory to keep the hot iron off my clothes.

Exactly what I was looking for! Ideal. Just the right size. Doesn't take up much counter space but long enough for my large curling iron. My curling iron now rests securely without touching my vanity. There is no heat transfer to the meter below.

Prevents my iron from falling out of the toilet bowl (we have a small bathroom with a pedestal sink and the toilet bowl is the only place the iron can go during use heating up) I wish I had bought something like this a long time ago.

I LOVE this product. I wish I had bought this many years ago. I accidentally left my curling iron on for an hour and it showed no signs of puckering. It holds up well and I like that it has rounded edges and is relatively small. I've used this on many surfaces and often sit on my hardwood floor at the base of my full length mirror. I can easily place the iron on the stand without burning the floor or carpet.

This is exactly what I was looking for for our bathroom. It has a beautiful color and is very easy to clean if it gets caught in makeup or dust. I've used it with a ceramic straightener and a metal curling iron and they held up to the heat of both without a problem.
