I bought this kit because of the price but found I had to modify the seals and full piston to use it. If you don't mind spending another hour rebuilding our carburetor, buy this kit. I found I had to modify each shim I needed to make them fit. Something was wrong with the threads at the base of the fuel needle which prevented me from using the needle, I had to use my old ones. This is the worst carburetor kit I have ever bought and I have bought many of these, seat threads needle and seats are different than those in the carb they do not work. I didn't want to disassemble the carb, so I bought an Edelbrock needle and seat kit. The accelerator pump didn't fit, the hole was too small and the S-hook didn't fit in the kit. Terrible fake quality. None of the parts correspond to the original parts. The pads were a different shape than the original ones and had to be trimmed to even fit in place. Soldering the floats was so horrible that I started laughing. The needle seat washer that came with it wasn't even remotely usable. I took a chance buying this kit despite many reviews saying the pump, needle and seats were wrong. The previous reviews were correct. Will not work on a 500cfm Edelbrock Performer that is about twenty years old, so Edelbrock may have changed specs. The saddles have metric threads that do not screw into this block.
