Build quality could be better

Where the triangle touches the base they are not perfectly aligned so when checking the fence either the base touches the stop and not the triangle or vice versa leaving a gap arises where the light is visible either along the triangle or at the base. I could sand down a longer base to fix this, but not the other one. I find them very accurate. I don't know if I will leave her.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Great value for money, best in Carpentry Squares

Wonderful value for money. Looks very square. Easy to read with useful dimensions on a blue background for quick layout. Nice case if you're the type to keep your instruments in cases. The tips are very finely ground. While they're probably very useful for self-defense or buffalo hunting, I don't think these spikes will survive if dropped. Beware. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great value measuring and marking tools

Inexpensive tools made in China can be anywhere. There are great things made in China and poor quality things (like everywhere else). Whatever factory made these squares (I had 4" and 7" sets) did a great job. It was easy for me to try them knowing that I could buy them and if they were defective, send them back for free. You are fantastic. I'm happy to pay for the quality. But in this case I got much better quality than I expected for $77.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not the best tool

Stainless steel woodpecker descent square fake.

but overall well made. Thinner stainless steel in the blade but the aluminum shoulder is of high quality. The markings are easy to read, but do not appear as clearly as in woodpeckers. Generally not bad as the price is a bit lower. This 7 inch size is slightly larger than a 6 inch woodpecker square (their largest). This square design is better suited for precision furniture and plumbing, as opposed to a traditional carpenter's square.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Modern

Lab level layout tool.

This is not a tool kit, it is a lab level marking tool kit! These table squares can rival anything Woodpeckers have to offer at an affordable price. If you're looking for a square bank and don't have hundreds of dollars to spend, take a close look at igaging's square bank set. Anytime Tools is a great and responsive seller. The one you can count on for quality imaging tools. And no, I'm not a paid reviewer. Just a carpenter like you.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Fits

Great product, best in Zimmermannswinkeln

Well these bench angles are really cool, I got them as a birthday present, the first set went back because the small one wasn't square. and I mean EVER! Rschunimagu. So I figured they couldn't be like that and I've had some of their products before with no problems. Revain sent another set and it was otherwise perfect. They work great, I don't really use all the features but I don't need them, I need to check the square but I find more and more uses for them every day. Great little product

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Negative imprint

Much more than a square

I have several large carpenter's squares that are great for rough or framing work. This angle is great for smaller projects and more precise work. Rulers and angles are more accurate. I use it to align and check angles on my saw and it's great for measuring and marking to set up fences for a router or circular saw. When I use a finishing disc on my table saw, this little square is perfect for fine tuning your fence. One of the most handy tools in my shop!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires base

NOT SQUARE fits measuring and marking tools

Okay, 2 times 2 with the same problem. Can't tell what the good reviewers found, but in my kit the larger 7" square had a bulge on the inside edge of the blue anodized part (next to the stainless steel blade part) which made it wobble, but at least internally it relates to the Workpiece. 32 inches. I tested this on a confirmed straight edge (flat to 0.003 inch). The replacement kit had the exact same problem, plus the hypotenuse side wasn't straight either. Obviously, iGaging has some quality…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Disappointing price

These squares are excellent in fit, finish and performance, but are not designed for precision finishing work. For that kind of cost they should have been near perfect on a pitch. Unfortunately it isn't. They're as square as the $10 at Home Depot. In fact, the $12.97 square 8-inch Empire True Blue is better than the 7-inch iGaging. In the attached image I drew a line, then flipped the square and drew another line, doing this twice for each square. You can see how wide the iGaging squares are…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No car
