Wrong unit shipped, 2 pcs

Looks like a well made part but the product shipped had an SAE fitting not Anderson. The replacement item was delivered the same way so I had to go to a competitor. The crap is postponed for a week.

Connector Polarity - Solar & Wind Power Parts & Accessories

I need a GZ configuration for my Boulder solar panels. I have the default configuration. After figuring out how to change the connector tips, I was able to connect to my solar panel.

The fitting got lost and I had to swap the plugs

I bought this to connect to the Jackery 1000. When I took the cable out of the box, I noticed that the red connector was on the wrong side to connect. Jackery Harbour. The way it was set up forces you to connect the positive (red) terminal of the solar panel to the negative (black) terminal of the jacket. Machining alone loosened the connection on one side of the cable and easily broke it off. My husband managed to solve both problems. He unplugged the connector and switched it so that the red…

Easily reconfigurable

I used this when upgrading the solar panel on our van. When building the original system I used Anderson PowerPoles top to bottom - this allowed me to easily switch between roof mount and portable mount (with different length cables) when camping. Our new Renogy panel had MC4 wires soldered to the panel (rather than a terminal block that could be unscrewed) and I didn't want to cut those wires to switch to APP connectors so this adapter was an easy fix. I'm one of those people who didn't understand the MC4 connectors at first. (Reconfigurable? Type.)

the goods are good. Haven't actually used it so don't know how to rate it but it seems durable and good looking. I give them 5 stars because they don't deserve a lower rating due to my stupidity. However, I bought it after seeing all the talk about "reconfigurables" and I didn't think it through. I thought - oh, I can just switch it if it doesn't work. I'm one of those people who didn't understand the MC4 connectors at first. :P The Anderson Power Pole (APP) page can be reconfigured. Nice. This
