Excellent! for Leathercraft

I bought this to transform a garment into a lace up style. It came with absolutely no instructions so after some time trying to unlock it I was finally able to unlock and test it. I tried it on 2 different materials: terry cloth (washing was the closest thing to me back then, it didn't matter if I put a hole in it) and satin-like material. The terry cloth worked very well, the hole punch punched a hole and the eyelet was perfectly fixed. The satin-like material was not well suited for hole…

Much easier to use than most buttonholes

So I make quite a few suits and corsets. Because of this, I've used a variety of assembly methods: Dritz eye pliers, numerous specialized eye assembly tools (with a hammer), even industrial hand presses (if I was lucky enough to be in a workshop that has them). Usually when using grommets for thicker materials (or multiple layers) I needed something that would install strong grommets without making too much noise or causing my hands too much pain. I also needed something that can handle hard…

Bad grommets great tool

The grommets that come with this tool suck but I bought the tool myself to use with these Amanaote grommets 200 sets in a corset I'll do it. They fit together perfectly, although the grommets are slightly larger than the grommets that come with the tool. The pliers are very easy to use and don't require too much force to squeeze. As someone who insists on tapping, sewing, and knitting constantly despite having carpal tunnel, my tools need to be comfortable in my hands, and I had no pain or…

Works great but better buy eyelets

I needed eyelets for a suit I made for my kid. After reading reviews of all possible means, I decided on this one. There were NO instructions included and there were no instructions to be found on the manufacturer's website either. To unlock the pliers you have to remove a small metal cylinder from a hole in the side mechanism - that took a while to figure out. Where this cylinder came out there is a hole punch to make a hole in the fabric. Here is a sliding piece of metal that screws into the…
