Great Way to Fix Fast Blink!

It worked as expected! Many people who retrofit LED lighting to their cars and trucks end up putting in a pull-up resistor to trick the factory turn signal relay into thinking it's a regular bulb. You don't have to cut the electrical wires in the car, you just install an electronic turn signal instead of a regular turn signal. A little information for you on the flasher relay concept: The original relays use a bimetal relay contact inside, which when the load (bulb) is switched on causes the…

First off, it's funny when the case of the OMRON relay already in the car falls apart before it's unplugged. shish. Things are so tight in there, dumbass, they think they actually need clamps to hold them. plastic case and wrap it with shrink wrap, it will fit fine. An alternative to this is to use 14ga wire and some spade connectors and sockets so you can make a wire harness or extension for it. Make the three wires any length you want so you can mount the adjustable relay. Where you want it…

Works great in KIA RIO5

I wanted to replace the turn signal bulbs on my 2011 KIA RIO5 with LEDs, I knew I will be hyper blinking if I switch to LEDs: WHY DOES HYPERFLASHING HAPPEN? has a component that controls the turn signals, that component can be in the form of a flasher relay or, on some European and newer vehicles, a control module. This component is designed to detect the power consumed by halogen bulbs, LEDs use less power and the component cannot detect them. This is considered an error code and will start…
