It certainly graces my Cayenne key. People noticed and commented. I sleep better at night knowing my Cayenne key is as beautiful as the car now. Incidentally, Porsche gets $595 for a "painted" key that looks exactly like mine. I think it was a slightly better buy.

You can have your key cover painted at the Porsche factory for over $100 or buy them. The paint from my factory paint chipped off in a few places, which is why I bought this key case. To be honest, I prefer the look of my new key cap to the Porsche paint job. The key looks great - the showroom is brand new! I can highly recommend the purchase.

Delivered in excellent condition. Nice color, metallic. I just took off the dull old black plastic pieces, lifted the tail first, then put on these new ones. They look as good as the photos show. I think the description said "metallic" meaning the material was metallic. It's plastic.

These key cases have a very poor fit. The front holding "key" on them is poorly shaped and doesn't "fit" in the standard key. Getting dressed is a lot harder than it should be as they don't fit well. When installed, the overlays protrude slightly over the surface of the keys and therefore do not fit properly. Twice one of the lids in the bag fell off by itself. I removed them and installed them on my original Porsche case.

I ordered both the gray and silver chrome metallic and I love the silver chrome! Gray is good but I prefer shinier stuff. So easy to put on, I just used a knife to pry off the original sides and snap the new ones in place. Not sure what the other reviewer had in mind, but there's no need to unscrew the innards. People have also said there is a gap, but I've found that you need to push the sides in firmly. Use some muscles. Great product at a great price. I will order more!

I have to laugh at myself because when I bought this I thought it didn't fit and sent the product back. However, it was just me, the dummy, who thought the item should bind to the key, and it did, lol. The pages of the original key will appear and THEN you can install them. Now that I have it installed it looks great and really turned my already cool looking Porsche key into an awesome looking Porsche key! Slim fit. Looks like real carbon fiber and I'm not sure I'd pay that much for a real deal

The key that was 100% 'used' on my 981 Boxster S looked pretty worn so I decided to pull the trigger to get the to replace shell. The reviews for it were mostly very positive, so I thought I had nothing to lose. As (almost) always, my Prime order arrived within two days. Following another reviewer's instructions (thanks btw!) I would like to advise those who order this clamshell. First let me say this is a wonderful product. However, without assembly instructions. It does not replace the key you have for your Macan S. Instead, it replaces the two side plates on either side of the remote control key's metal housing.
