Better design, engineering and material savings are required.

My Trek bike is hanging on a slope because the frame is slightly tilted. I did not expect this. If I had bought a model with the remaining tires at the track, this would not have happened. But my biggest complaint about the product itself is that it is very difficult and awkward to pull the two black rubber straps/strips to attach the bike to the bike. bike frame. This is totally unnecessary as there are many best methods for locking hardware these days. The product is strong and will hold our…

THIS IS STRONG STEEL!

I am very satisfied with this great product which is 100% better than other cheap lightweight tin stands. All construction and fittings are on the top shelf. This is not a Chinese fake. Someone spent a lot of time building this beautiful shelf and making sure it was put together correctly. I know I built in China and you can get junk if you want for a low price. Or you can get #1 quality if you do it right and pay the right price. I can see that the team that built this device spent a lot of…

Great value, very strong, easy to assemble and use

We fitted this stand to our Model X and it has proven to be as good as Yakima's best stand system. The stand has screws that prevent it from being disassembled and a quick release latch that requires you to flip the stand up or down. There is a plate that prevents the stand from rattling. Just tighten the U-bolt as needed and the stand is silent. A heavy bike can be difficult to lift, so you can lower the stand to the ground, set the bike up, and then adjust the stand to a horizontal position…

It's not branded but it's definitely Elan

I just recently took my bike off the garage ceiling because I'm feeling lazy during a pandemic. I've tried cycling on the street but these days I'm a bit shaky (I'm an elderly person) and I'm nervous about the traffic approaching behind me. So I needed a way to transport my bike on the countless bike/treadmill trails around Dallas. I'm not going to spend hundreds on something I don't normally use, and none of the used devices on Craigslist have responded. So here it is. A solution to my problem

Rusty! Detailed product image FALSE!

Based on the good reviews and pictures I chose this bike rack. When it arrived I was shocked to see red rust on the inside of the tubes on the rack. Judging by the pictures in the listing, it should have a 268µM Ultra Durable coating. You can see from the attached image that this claim is completely false (it was actually 24.4 µM). I work in the automotive industry and I can tell you this will NEVER last. Aside from the wrong destination, the holes were way too big and the carry handles rumbled

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Only available in black

A good bang for the buck - with ONE attitude!

I love this bike rack. The solid construction (with one exception) and the ability to leave the trunk on but still use the sunroof in the rear of the jeep is great. Another great feature is the clamp, which stabilizes the post on the hitch and eliminates (for me) any rattling or movement. I rate Strength 4 out of 5 for the following reason. As others have posted, ONE issue I had is with the nylon bars and the screws that hold them to the rack. I couldn't pull them tight enough and they tended…

Good and cheap bike rack

This is a good and cheap bike rack for your 2 inch receiver. It is NOT as strong and easy to use as a wheeled stand, but on the other hand it is not as expensive or heavy either. have one of these and keep it on my RV. I was looking for a lightweight bike rack that could be taken on and off my car when needed and for trips under 100 miles. In general, the stand meets these requirements. Comments: (1) Use the anti-rattle clutch tensioner you get for free (or buy one). Pen, not the one that came…
