I needed to connect a JVC VCRHQ Composite VCR to an Onkyo TX-SR674 receiver that was 9 feet away on a bookshelf. If you 100% want a cable that long and care only about that, then this is for you. For us who also care about the sound quality of the output, don't buy this. The length is great. That's all for the pros, and now I will list the cons: poor quality of the cable, very poor quality of the head connection, and the sound quality is worse than that of a dying cat. It crackles, pops and is so distorted that I'd rather just hear the audio coming out of the TV speakers than leave that cheap junk plugged

I don't understand all the negative reviews about these RCAs. I bought 25ft RCA cables to connect the headrest monitors to the head unit and they work great. I split the cable to run two to my amp and that works great too! Yes, it's a bit odd that yellow is in the middle, but separate them anyway, folks. Red, yellow, white. all the same! I bought this equipment for videotapa in our film village on the set. The crew could see the footage in good quality and almost didn't bother them. I have not run any sound with this cable. That being said I'd give it 5 stars for durability considering we shot in inclement weather and the cable performed well in rain, sleet, hail and light snow. Great! I used this to connect a backup camera to my 2002 Silverado 2500HD (short bed). The length was excellent and most importantly the quality of the wire is such that the connection works flawlessly. The cable that came with the camera was too short and too thin so when I extended it it didn't work. For this application I removed the white cinch (very easy to do) and used yellow and red.
