Not the best 8 gauge wire for mounting an amp

Not even close to 8 gauge wire. Maybe it's a gauge 10. can be. I will use it because I only have 40 amps. but this cable can only handle about 35 amps. It's also a shorter run so I'm hoping it works. Not satisfied, just spend more and get a true 8 gauge.

What I received was not 8 gauge wire.

Non-8 AWG cord. I know this because my 8 gauge terminals were too big and wouldn't stay in place when crimped. However, 10 gauge terminals fit perfectly. Very disappointed as I paid expecting an 8 gauge.

Pros
  • Car AV Installation
Cons
  • Requires outlet

False advertising at its finest

This is the pathetic "8 gauge wire" I've ever seen. It's more like a 10 gauge, if anything. I don't think excessive plastic coating around a few strands of wire can even be considered 8 gauge thick. It will definitely be returned and refunded! DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY
