🐑 Sheepskin Cushioned Bicycle Seat Cover Review

The cover is a good size and fits over my exercise bike seat with no problems. Inside the sheepskin is a large piece of styrofoam which I really liked the first time I sat on it. Then I discovered that nowhere in the reviews did anyone mention it was memory foam. He remembered sitting on it and not "puffing" back, and I only weigh 115 pounds. The faux sheepskin isn't the softest, but it's nice and adds some softness to the seat.

Finally the Florida heat wasn't so oppressive today, so I tried on the seat cover. It was bulky at first, but then the foam padding got so bad it just shrinks and then feels lumpy. I took out the foam pad and put the faux sheepskin cover back on the bike seat, thinking maybe the padding was to blame. rubbish! The foam inside is not actually foam. It is as dense as a sheet of paper. You might as well sit in the seat that comes with the bike. I used two of these (on two different bikes) as covers for wide seats that had cracks. A lot of seats like this have a plastic sheet covering the foam or gel on the inside, which after a few years will crumple and tear, and the insides will expand, increasing the cleavage. My old seats are intact except for the outer covers, so I fixed the tears with vinyl repair glue and then put on faux lambskin covers.
