Bought a used 5 year old IMS tank for my XR650R and needed a new cap. It fits perfectly. Also, it's from IMS as it should be. As long as your threads are fine and nothing is warped/warped for any reason.

This IMS cap fits perfectly on my 2000 Suzuki DRZ with a large aftermarket IMS plastic tank. You will need your own breather hose - recommend one with a valve so you don't spill fuel when parking the bike.

Like many others, the rubber cap on my IMS tank fell apart and my tank started leaking out of the filler neck. I never liked the original design and it's much better and looks like a standard off-road gas gap. Fits perfectly and seals as it should. This is only suitable for IMS tanks.

I had a bit of a problem with it not fitting easily into the threads of my IMS tank at first. When I called the manufacturer they scratched the back of their head and said it should fit easily.
