Doesn't work, unfortunately

It just doesn't work. If "cutting" and "scratching" mirrors mean the same thing, then it definitely scratched the mirror, no matter how hard I pressed, however, I couldn't get a cut that would allow me to snap it.

Not for me best in my review

Granted I've never used a glass cutter, but I found this cutter difficult to use. I finally had to break out the dremel to cutting the glass. From now on I'm using my faithful dremel. Waste of money for me.

Don't Bother good for me

Bought this to cut an 1/8 inch thick piece of glass for a table. I tried running both size cutters back and forth across the glass probably about 100 times. I kept following the directions, had plenty of oil and each time I would tap the glass at the score location the glass would not separate at the line. Eventually when I was tapping the glass at the score mark, I tried to pull down on the short piece and the glass fractured in an odd shape and ruined the whole piece. Buyer beware.

Not a good tool for stained glass

This tool is crap! The oil doesn’t keep the wheel well lubricated and it ruins my glass. I will always buy the Toyo from now on because I wasted my money.

Worth Every Penny! good for me

I used to hate cutting glass for picture frames, but this cutter is a joy to use. Very easy to learn and consistent results. Don't buy those cheap steel wheel cutters and just go with this from the start to save you a lot of frustration. Listen for that ripping sound to know you're putting the right pressure on the glass.

  • The tip turns and the screw is tightened completely.wont cut straight at the beginning because of this.

Great tool: my feedback

Did my stained glass project and with this tool and I love it. I used W40 (just spray on the wheel) and it is less messy than putting it inside.

Clean cuts every time

This cutter is great for me. I regularly cut very expensive non-reflective museum glass for picture frames. Every messed up cut costs me more than these cutters. So far I've yet to have a cut go wrong with these :-)

Oil feed wick came out first time using while scoring glass.

Did not work well for me. Oil wick came out first time using. Little bits at a time. Ruined my glass cutting. Had to use tweezers and remove all the fine hairs of the wick. Still did not score glass.
