Tough - solid construction

Had to find out for myself that the hydraulic tensioner has an assembly that needs to be removed for this part to work. Once I got over that - smooth sailing. Works very well and is sturdy.

Perfect for E46 with OEM quality

Perfect for E-46 with spring compressor - this is for the main belt (water pump/alternator/power steering). Great price, quick delivery and easy installation. INA is original equipment manufacturer - excellent quality.

Please check if you have a mechanical one.

Be sure to check if you have a mechanical or hydraulic tensioner. I had a hydraulic tensioner but I replaced it with this mechanical tensioner because the hydraulic ones can leak.

Great part, I just ordered the wrong one!

This item is of high quality and has a fast delivery. Unfortunately I bought this part thinking it was the AC tensioner. This part is for old. and steering pump belt. Totally my fault so I warn everyone to pay attention when ordering to avoid my mistake.

Attention, a car with a hydraulic tensioner will not fit.

Warning, not suitable for vehicles with hydraulic tensioners. The problem lies in the length of the bolts used between the two types of tensioners. It's also the inferior version of the two overall. You will need to buy a new bolt for one of the mounting bolts if you have a hydraulic tensioner.

This is the correct OEM production for BMW tensioners! The car of the same brand came from the factory!

Especially for many BMW owners who work there, I just wanted to let you know that INA is actually a factory manufacturer of BMW belt tensioner bearings and rollers, so it is not cheap production trades China part. It's 100% the right OEM for your BMW and we're sure you'll be pleased because it's at least as cheap or cheaper than many of the non-OEMs featured here. Do yourself a favor and only build good things into your BMW. Many Thanks

not worth it: spare parts

suitable for 2000 BMW528iT, no more squeaking :) delivered on time updated rating October 2017 worked well for 10 months. I ordered a replacement in October 2016 and worked until August 2017. I thought I got a bad one, that happens to everyone, I ordered a new one from the same seller. Arrived on time, fitted the car just right, but this one lasted less than a month.
