Do not buy! suitable for incandescent lamps

The color was excellent, unfortunately the bulbs immediately gave off an unpleasant smell of burnt plastic. I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • functionality

Not so green: incandescent lamps

I've tried them on both the front and side porches. I think the only reason I see green is because I know it's supposed to be green. I think I wasted my money but green lightbulbs were hard to come by back then.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Just what I needed for incandescent bulbs

I bought these for my chicken coop. The temperature is currently 0 for a high during the day and a double digit minus at night, which does not include a cold wind. I was suspicious of heat lamps because of the fire hazard. I've heard a lot of horror stories. Also, I don't think my chickens need a tan. This bulb is enough to keep the chicken coop at about 10 degrees and they seem to be fine with that.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
