Indoor Doormat Front Door Mat Review

This is a high quality mat! I wish it was dark gray and a little bigger, but other than that, it handles the Iowa snow well and picks up all the salt from the pavement.

I've only had it a week so can't comment on durability yet. We had rain for two days and it did a great job cleaning the pup's paws by walking all over him when he came back. Love. This is used on the inside up. I love how soft and attractive it looks. This is primarily because the floor is a slab of stone and looks cold without anything. In our case, it's more of a cosmetic look. There is a large sturdy rug directly in front of it as this is a messy room and it is over the step to the door.

I was hoping this little rug would get rid of all that mess from your shoes when you walk on it. No, that is not so. It is advertised that he does this by walking over it, rather than rubbing his legs first or splashing him with something. It doesn't work any better than a cheap bath mat, otherwise I wouldn't buy it. Many others said the same when judging it, but I had to see it for myself. I haven't had any issues with refunds and that was the only positive thing about this purchase.

The idea I had was to stop tracking dirt and water around the house. I'd say it's about 90% efficient going for it. I run with shoes and even then the efficiency is only 98-99%. I still see footprints on the floor. Don't take my criticism as a rejection. This product is the best I've ever had. It's just not the way the commercials show it. This will definitely be a rug that will last a while. I've had friends who bought it simply because they visited and used it in amazement.

I really like the material of this rug. This solved two of my main issues with the exit door to the backyard. One issue is that my little chubby dog would always run away and ruin my doormat when he ran into the backyard and this mat is very sturdy. No matter how fast my dog walks over it, it just stays in place like glue on the floor.
