🔧 Versatile Industrial Fitting Reducer Adapter Female - Enhancing Efficiency and Adaptability Review

This item was great. The fit was of good quality and just what I wanted. I used it as an extension cable for the temperature sensor. The sensor was slightly wider than the hole in the fitting so I drilled through it with a soft metal drill bit. It was easy. I'm going to put this setup I made on my transmission output line. One is a temperature sensor and the other is a thermal switch for a transmission fan. I'm sure I'll need a few more fittings and will definitely come back here.

Even though the inside says 1/2" NPT, male x 3/8" NPT, the outside was 3/4" (measured from [ male] threads ), the female thread was 1/2" (measured from the [female] thread) --- it was not even *distantly* close to the advertised size. Installed as an extension on my engine block to clear the tee I used for the oil pressure sensor and fuel pump switch. Dressed it up as instructed. A few days later I noticed a few drops of oil under the jeep. Look at the fitting and notice a small leak under the jeep. Start the jeep to see if it's an active leak and this fitting will fly out the side of the block with the engine running.
