❄️ CJ Industries F101 Fantastic Ice Scraper - Blue with Brass Blade Review

I still have one of those scrapers from the 1990's! I was happy to find this brand again and bought a new one. This is exactly what I was looking for - a light to medium ice scraper with a brass blade.

Aside from a small dent on the brass edge, I am happy with this product. Brass outperformed all other standard materials I've used. I would suggest putting a plastic protector on the rim if it detaches from the assembly.

This scraper is simple, easy and does the job well. It's a bit small but works faster than a big plastic scraper. It kind of flexes and conforms to the curvature of the windshield. It's easier to dig into thick ice with a scraper that small. Cheap, so buy a few right away.

This knife outperforms anything made with a plastic blade. If you live somewhere with heavy icing on the windshield, this is for you. Just don't leave it in the hands of a little grandson, who (after lightly cleaning his window) will decide it's a great idea to use to shake snow off your car too! This will change the design of your car.

Once you've tried brass to scrape ice, you'll never use anything else! I just wish the grip was stronger. I usually stretch my fingers out on the scraper head so I don't put too much pressure on the handle. However, this means that ice shards will freeze your fingers. However, much more efficient than any plastic scraper. Get the job done and defrost your fingers in less time than with a traditional scraper.

I bought my first blue ice scraper with a brass blade 34 years ago at a local car dealership. It looked exactly like this. The best ice scraper ever! Works much better than a plastic ice scraper. I decided to buy a new one because the edges of the corners started to curve (probably from tapping the stone wall with the scraper to remove the ice from the blade while moving around the SUV). worth your money! Will last at least half a lifetime or longer depending on how you take care of it.

I remembered my grandfather had copper scrapers when I was a kid so I was glad to find this one. Any plastic scraper I've ever used might be fine for a few uses, but the edges get smudged and creased very quickly, rendering them virtually unusable, requiring you to go over the same spots over and over to clean them.
