Replacement Injector Pressure Regulator Valve - regulates the oil bypass circuit of the high pressure oil pump. NO. HAPPY.: Pressure Regulator

December 2018: Great product for a fraction of what it steals! Easy installation with special tool. UPDATE: Product stopped working after less than a year. Caused by heavy / won't start when hot. Buy OEM and stay away from aftermarket parts, especially when it comes to Ford PSD. Lesson learned for me.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Very Expensive

FUCKING PARTS! STAY AWAY!

The first came out of the box, the second worked for a few minutes and then broke causing a bunch of O-rings to fail, took a lot of time and money to fix the reason part of this company. I will never order from them again and will NEVER recommend ANYONE to order from them. EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED with their parts and customer service

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Secret

Worked for about a month

So far so good. 2007 f350 update: less than a few months. It fell apart when I took it out to see what happened to it. The rings also melted. Those should be cheap O-rings. I have already sold this truck but decided to come back and update this review. Garbage. Don't waste money. Get an OEM or risk buying the same part and doing the job twice.

Stick OEM in spare part

Don't skimp on these items. Installed while I had a day off due to the pandemic. Fixed bugs related to the correct operation of this version 6.0. Never could get injection pressure over 2500psi. I wasn't too lazy and bought OEM. Now I can hammer it while it develops over 3800 psi. And no more "Low ICP" code. Unfortunately, the 30-day return period has expired. Take my word for it, don't skimp on this ICP sensor.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Something else

FAILED! DO NOT BUY. Does not meet warranty

Broke after 33 days of use and left me on the side of the road. This was the second IPR I've bought from Amazon sellers (the first one didn't work at all). Towing alone cost more than the damn engine part. Contacted the seller twice. After 2 weeks (from the first contact) still no response from the seller. I have verified that the screen has not been damaged by debris (which would be user error, not a defective part).

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Solenoid and valve are separated. The valve remains in the engine.

I installed this IPR and the IPR codes are no longer coming. I was stuck in the middle of Montana for a week getting low ICP sensor circuit codes. I left it on the freeway and drove to the next town to order an ICP sensor in Napa. I waited at the hotel for 3 days and when the part arrived I exchanged it and was still on the road getting low ICP chain codes. So I drove to the first truck stop and turned it off. It hasn't started in three days. Today I tried pulling the IPR which I am looking at…

You are not working. in spares

These are manufactured by AA Ignition. Bought 2 and all failed. It started, but not as it should. They caused an electrical malfunction. It took me a nightmare of time to diagnose and eventually bought a GP Sorensen from my local parts store to have the truck repaired. The code I finally got after launch, despite problems on both IPRs, was P2552. Somehow the solenoid shorted to ground internally and the truck acted like all the injectors were leaking. What I first thought was that the FICM is…

DO NOT BUY. Read please.

I bought this product because it was the cheapest replacement for my 2006 F-450. I replaced it with this one just to see if my IPR was bad and used this one because I wasn't planning on riding it. It was just a test. My truck started immediately after installation and I ended up driving 50 miles home to work on my truck. When I got home I was having trouble starting again so I pulled the valve out leaving the spring, screen and steel bushing in the valve bore. Luckily I was able to pull it all…
