Good product! good for injectors and parts

I ordered an LLC injector puller for my son for Cummins Diesel and he said it was a good item when working with injectors. Great prices, would recommend and buy again!

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Makes nozzle removal easier.

I used this tool to remove the injectors in less than 10 minutes (although I only had 4 of them). Took takes on a daunting and potentially dangerous task and handles it with ease.

Pros
  • Injectors and parts
Cons
  • Wire is shorter than other picks

Great tool to add to the box.

A product that you can easily make yourself but as economical as it gets, just buy it. They send you the right size nuts so you don't have to look for them and they always work reliably.

Pros
  • Injectors
Cons
  • Expensive

Cylinder too small for parts

This product has a cut piece of tubing surrounding the injector. The problem is that the tube is small and does not fit on the injector mounting nut. I had to cut a piece of PVC pipe to do the job and also find a larger washer to accommodate the new PVC pipe I was using. After all the adjustments, the injectors came out.

Pros
  • Fuel Injection
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Pulls Cummins 12V Well Injectors

This 5.9L 12V injector puller works well as expected. No problem with that. Use the larger nut for 94-98 and the smaller nut for 89-93. Slide the sleeve onto the nozzle, then the washer, then the correct size nut and turn with a wrench or socket (18mm?). When the nut stops turning and the nozzle starts turning, you can now use a vise to pull the nozzle out.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great puller but size BE SURE

It appeared to be a great puller and was quite heavy. I read in other reviews that the washing machine is too weak. This should be fixed. BUT I couldn't use it on my engine because the channel id was too small. Bad because it's clearly specified for an '89 Dodge Cummins 6BT. My engine is a 1988 Cummins 6BT marine engine. Just make sure your motor is exactly what it says on the description and you should be fine. Use lots of PB Blaster around your jets and they should come out.

Pros
  • Fuel system
Cons
  • Low repairability
