Disappointing Quality and Performance

This automotive product failed to live up to my expectations. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to tell that this intake did not improve my car's performance and actually caused a decrease in gas mileage. The only positive is that the design looks sleek. However, the negative effects make it not worth my money.

Pros
  • Improves engine performance and increases horsepower
Cons
  • Installation may require professional expertise and tools

Excellent product: Spare parts

This air intake is perfect for Mitsubishi Lancer, the sound and quality are excellent. You really hear it when you press the pedal and/or the red line. I actually have a 2005 Lancer and it still fits perfectly. A bit pricey but definitely a good reception.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Very expensive

Difficult Installation

Installation on my 2004 Lancer Rallart was difficult. The instructions show installation with the front bumper removed. I got through the front bumper assembly, but it was tight between the fender arch and the radiator overflow tank. No noticeable increase in power at low revs, the torque boost occurs quickly at 3500 rpm and lasts up to 6000 rpm. Data on MPG are not yet available. The noise level is higher when the throttle is open.

Pros
  • Parts
Cons
  • Non Automatic
