Completed replacing my original air intake on a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS 2.4L in light rain and it only took about 20 minutes. I have never installed a new air intake on a vehicle, I think it was very easy and the end result is better than I expected. The packaging was correct and was delivered on Saturday although I had ordered it on Thursday. I paid extra for Saturday delivery and everything worked.

Installation was very easy. If you follow the instructions and have the right tools, it only takes about 30 minutes, even without mechanical knowledge. The only problem so far is that the vacuum hose that connects to the opposite end of the filter has sometimes come loose. I solved it by doing two things; First thing to do was make sure the air intake was properly attached to the anti-vibration grommet and secure with a small hose clamp to hold the hose in place. Product is well made and works. Not enough miles to quantify performance improvement. Although a Revain parts finder said it would fit my 2003 2.4L Eclipse, it required some extra work and a trip to the hardware store. Installed this cold air intake about a week ago, it fits great and installed with no problems. In terms of performance, at revs above 3500 rpm you will certainly feel the increase in vehicle traction.
