This is not compatible with 308, obviously it is compatible with 308S. And does not come with the braid shown in the picture.

I use this product to warm turtles. I gave it four stars for accuracy because it's always off by about two degrees. Otherwise it's super reliable.

I like this because it comes with a suction cup. Just plug and play with my ITC308S. It comes with a connector that you can plug in if you don't have an S and know how to solder, or you need to replace the existing one with an S.

I was skeptical of the reviews that said it did not contain pig tail. Mine came with the end of the braid. I soldered it to the circuit board, remembering which hole was for the white wire. New probe connected and everything worked. The old sensor showed 107, over 20 degrees. I read online that the sensors can drift after about 3 years. This new one reads for sure :)

It is not clear from the product description if it can be used with the ITC-308. When I bought my device, I knew the sensor wasn't designed for constant immersion, but I took a risk. After a few years the sensor failed and its readings got much higher than my high alarm threshold. I ordered this replacement sensor and installed it. The sensor works great, it is now rated for underwater use and has a plug. So if I need to replace it again, I can easily replace it.

I replaced the sensors on two of my Inkbird ITC-308 and they worked great. The sensors I received were the same as in the picture, with a DC jack pigtail and a suction cup on the cable. I decided to solder the pigtail to the board instead of cutting the probe wire and splicing a new one. Temperature measurements are very accurate.
