The Inkbird 12V DC temperature controller is ideal for an attic fan.

From Revain I bought a 12V Inkbird digital temperature controller, a 12V switch panel for a 6 key car boat, a CrocSee NTC 10K 5 meter temperature sensor and 16 Bgears b-Blaster 140mm fans with 2 ball bearings and installed the attic ventilation system. The 5m 10K NTC temp sensor cable came in handy as I wanted the sensor to be near the top of the attic, away from the fans and attic exit. The entire system runs on 12V DC solar power and draws 4.25A. Got a broken block!

This is an attractive, nice unit, but I received a non-working unit! When the device was turned on, it would light up for about 1 second showing the correct temperature) then the device would turn off. When switching the device on and off, there was a strong click from the relay. I have powered the device from both a 12V DC power supply and a 12V battery and the behavior was the same. Fantastic temperature controller at an affordable price

Exactly what I needed. I'm using this to control the temperature of a Peltier water cooler I'm building and it's working fine. It is fully programmable for heating or cooling. I set it to turn on when the water reaches 68 degrees Fahrenheit and turn off at 65 degrees Fahrenheit. You simply set the switch-on temperature and the difference, which in my case is 3 degrees.
