There is no misinformation available about this device. Right on top of the main points it says it only works on 2.4GHz. However, none of the phones in our house (even very old ones) connect to 2.4GHz by default. I also couldn't find a way to select my 2.4GHz network version on my Samsung S10. What I did was go into the router settings under "Advanced Wi-Fi Options" and temporarily disable the 5GHz signal.
