Unreliable for Professional Shoots

The stand is flimsy and unstable, making it impossible to trust with expensive electronics. The height adjustment is also difficult to maneuver..

Pros
  • Initial setup is easy.
Cons
  • Unstable and unreliable.

I was recently invited to participate in a podcast and each time I spent a few minutes putting up some lights. After a few times, I wanted something that would sit on my desk all the time. I attached this stand to the back of my desk and used it to hold the main light while the fill light was mounted on a 6" tripod on my desk. I highly recommend getting this mounting stand if you regularly do zooms or videos of any kind, meetings, or if you need permanent lighting on your desk.

Pros
  • A Sea of Positive Emotions
Cons
