Reliable product for all occasions, quality on par.

Excellent student model. For those who do not want to pay a lot and are ready to tinker with gas stations for this. Before that I used Canon IP2700 (just a printer). It served me faithfully for 2.5 years (however, it still works, but the quality has subsided). I printed out about 3k pages, printed reports to the labs and abstracts in the hostel with the whole group. The heads of the cartridges died, so I decided to stay on Canon inkjet machines, purchasing the MG2540S. As I wrote above, the…

Pros
  • + Price. For a little over 2k, finding a decent MFP was a fantasy until recently. + Functionality. All in one. + Possibility of refueling. Immediately with the printer, I bought a set of ink in jars and syringes at a pharmacy. Printing with this approach becomes almost free. + software. A convenient printer maintenance program with all the necessary settings and functions. That's really how to make candy out of a cheap device.
Cons
  • - Fields. At the bottom of the page, it leaves a field of exactly 2 cm. No dancing with a tambourine during the printing of a diploma could remove this function. Although in some modes the print head captures this field (printing in copier mode). The solution is to set the rotation to 180 degrees in the settings. Then the field is on top and does not interfere with printing. - Sometimes two sheets from the tray are enough. To prevent this from happening, you need to put something under the cover of the tray so that the sheets stand more vertically. - Expensive cartridges. Sooner or later, the heads burn out (with refueling, it is enough for about 2 - 2.5 thousand sheets). Given the price of consumables, it's easier to buy a new printer.

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Great budget MFP. It turned out to be the most for the house. Naturally, there is no borderless printing, wireless printing, auto-flip. But without all this at home it is quite possible to do if the task is to print several sheets of documents a day. I did not try to refill the cartridge, but users write that it is possible without problems.

A good product, more pros than cons.

With this printer, I can't set it and forget it. Something is wrong with the software. The paper tray is covered. Not a tray, but (let's say) a paper pick-up mechanism. Reloaded 3 times so far. If you need to print text, I highly recommend a laser printer. Got pros: A simple, cheap model for home use. The cartridge is refilled. Cons: The scanned document often does not print in its original size.

I didn't like it, I don't recommend buying.

It seems to me that the creators of the printer considered it too good to sell it for a low price and programmatically slaughtered some of the functions. Now this device is not suitable for normal text printing, nor for normal color printing. So, a toy for housewives. On ebay, this printer is given for 200. with print cartridges. No one is taking. With its pros: Price. Before that, there was a cheap Canon that worked successfully for about five years. Cons: Artificial limitations of functions…

With its pros: The printer was bought in order to print out documents once a month or two instead of running to the MFC. For such a price - this is an ideal option, and a scanner with a copier is a bonus. Its cons: While everything is fine, the model justifies itself. I expect quests when the toner runs out, but this is the specifics of printers for 2k: that's how it has already paid off. The only negative: the lack of a cable for connecting to a computer, there is not the most standard connect

Terrible product, not satisfied with the purchase!

Refilling cartridges. First, we launch the factory software. Canon Quick Menu, Starting My Printer, Printer Settings, Maintenance, Printer Status Information, Options, Untick Enable Status Monitor. 1 Press the STOP button for 15 blinks, turn off the power and remove the cartridges. 2 Peel off the stickers and drill holes in the round depressions in the plastic. 3 Pour paint through syringes in strict order! 1 (upper cavity) red paint 3 ml, 2 (left cavity) blue paint 3 ml, 3 (right cavity)…

Pros
  • Moderate print quality for the price. Light weight, will not cause much inconvenience when thrown into the trash, CANON took care that it was not hard for us .
Cons
  • The device itself is a complete failure! Nowhere is it written that printing on glossy (shiny) paper is not supported. If you want to print an insert on expensive glossy paper for PS3 or XBOX 360 boxes, then look elsewhere! The cartridges in the kit are 30-sheet test probes, they are needed solely to check the operation of the device itself, these are not full-fledged cartridges. So do not think that it is cheaper to buy a new printer in the place where you buy a new cartridge. The price of a cartridge is on average 1200+, which is not far from the cost of the printer itself, I took the printer for 1750 + delivery of 290. Prints with large margins. A4 sheets prints only with margins, do not even dream of printing a large picture on the entire A4 sheet on this product, for such functionality you are in the direction of printers from 5k at least.

I bought for one task - to print color cards for a training course. Approximately 230 color copies were made, after which the yellow color ran out. I had enough copies for my task. If I printed the same cards for a fee, it would cost me 2 times more. You can print further if yellow is not critical. I plan to change the color cartridge and continue using the device. Black and white copying, as well as scanning, can be freely continued in this state.

Pros
  • 1. Price, 2. Good quality color copies.

Good value for money, I recommend.

The whole family suffers with him for two weeks. Tried to run from two computers, changed three cables. All in vain. Will have to give up. Does not work and gives the same error: USB cable not connected. All in all, a bad purchase. They fixed it according to the recommendations of the support service: they killed all the Canon software and launched it again according to their recommendations. Earned. They didn't even think it would work.

Pros
  • Did not scan at the very beginning of work. The support service sent recommendations. We did everything according to their recommendations - I started scanning.
Cons
  • Doesn't scan. Writes an error that the USB cable is not connected. It prints and copies, but refuses to scan. Corrected according to the recommendations of the support service

Nice price, good quality.

Pros below: Prints. Scans. There are two complete cartridges included. Color and bw. Some cons: The kit did not have a wire for connecting to a computer, but you need a special one. Bought separately.

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

For the money, perhaps the best inkjet MFP on the market. It takes up little space, scans quickly, and prints quite quickly too. However, not without a fly in the ointment. As I did not align the cartridges (both manually and automatically), all the same, color images are printed with an overlay (bands are visible). The alignment itself took almost half of the color cartridge. o_o

Pros
  • Low price, "refillable" cartridges, decent print quality.
Cons
  • Streaks in color prints Small volume of starter cartridges

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

my previous canon had dry cartridges. washed, refueled, but at the next refueling, it pierced the membrane . I decided to buy a new set and oh . (zero). A set of black cartridges (445th) + color (446th) = 2500. I decided to ask the price of a new device (with the same cartridges). New printer = 5400r . I decided to ask the price of an MFP, suddenly not much more expensive . So, here. MFP Canon PIXMA MG2540S bought for 2570 + 100. delivery Those. it turns out that I bought a set of cartridges…

Pros
  • cheap and cheerful
Cons
  • like all canon devices, they messed up with the installation

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

Pros below: Just a great MFP - with excellent quality - it just doesn't print very well, but otherwise it's just fine. Some cons: Expensive official ink cartridges, but you can easily buy a refill kit and charge yourself, much cheaper

A terrible product, not worth your money absolutely!

Splurge on cartridges. The main goal and pricing of this printer is to make more money from you. It is strange that a company like Canon does not think about how the production of such things is harmful to the environment, and engage in such dishonest deeds. A cartridge for 1300-1400 is enough for 10-12 sheets. Plain text, no pictures or black spots. Then it ends immediately. Do not connect the continuous ink supply system - the printer is very well chipped. We are very sorry that we bought…

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • Splurge on cartridges.

Expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

Bought for a college student. As it turned out, they require such a large amount of printed material. I was initially against buying this junk. It's not that bad, it's just that this cheap device is designed to pump money out of expensive printing. In general, I was once again convinced that the inkjet must be Epson. Pros below: Inexpensive. It started up under Manjaro without any problems - the drivers are in the AUR. Different cons: Incredibly "intuitive" controls, coupled with the lack of an
