Designed to perform compression tests to help identify damaged pistons worn rings burnt valves and blown head gaskets. Properly rated fuel hose and brass fittings make this tool a step above the rest in quality and longevity. Side-release valve allows repeated tests without disconnecting the hose. Includes 15-inch rubber hose with stainless steel casing 14mm long reach adapter for long reach spark plug applications and 10mm 12mm 14mm and 18mm adapters. Large easy-to-read 2-1/2-inch dial face with dual-calibrated and color-coded scales.

Works on bikes

I was rebuilding my 100,000 mile Honda ST1100 and wanted to check the compression. I originally bought another Equus compression tester but didn't realize I needed a special adapter to make it work with my 10mm spark plugs so I had to send it back to buy this one. for money. In my case I used a 10mm adapter that screws onto one end of braided rubber tubing. The other end is connected to a pressure gauge, and then the adapter is screwed into the spark plug hole.
