Innova DX Beast Golf Disc - Assorted Colors (Variations may apply) Review

I can throw this rim further than 12s, it has a thicker rim that feels good in my hand and also has a good side lever which I can't say for all the rims I've bought have.

Ordered for my grandson's 2nd birthday. It's a lot of weight and cool graphics, but I really wish it wasn't white. I was really hoping for a color other than white.

The Beast is a good racer because it has great expected turn and cushioning (3rd and 4th numbers on the disc). For a beginner this can be difficult at first, but once you figure out how to throw a disc it's a great tool to have in your pocket.

We play disc golf maybe 6 times a year so please understand if you read my review. I have bred the beast twice this year and am very confident in using it. I've bounced everything in the woods and it's still a solid, stable drive. I will be buying a second one to replace another driver that got lost at the waterhole.

This drive was fine for about the first week of use, and then after a small breakage (hitting trees, hitting the ground, etc.) it completely lost all of its stability. The thing is more like -4 or -5 turns now, so it's my reel plate now. I would say save your money and buy a better plastic animal so it will last longer.

I have been using Innova Beast for many years. A while back I threw mine in the lake and couldn't get it out. During a game a few weeks ago, a friend of mine showed up with one and killed it on the field due to the highly predictable line the beast flies. When I got home I immediately ordered one for my bag. I'm relatively new to sports so not a disc expert but for now the Beast is the best disc I've used for long shots. Bought this drive in heavy 175g. They generally recommend that new players use lighter discs until they have better form and can throw the disc at the required "speed" for it to behave properly.
