🚗 Innova 3150RS OBD2 Scanner / Car Code Reader with ABS, SRS, Real-time Data, and Service Light Reset Review

Does NOT read ABS codes. Other reviewers also noticed this and I ignored it, thinking it would work on my car. It's not like this. Tech support didn't help either. In addition, scans and surgeries were inconsistent and readings fluctuated. I would give this product NO STARS if that was an option. Unfortunately I left town and missed the return window. If you don't have $200 to waste, buy something else.

Good scanner for standard scans plus ABS/SRS codes. The 2011 Ram had both the brake lights on the dash and the headlights that came on at the same time. It will come and go day by day. The scanner detected low brake fluid level during an ABS scan. The reservoir was full, so the brake fluid level sensor was not working. Replaced and no more problems. I have updated my scanner but it is not reading live data from my Ram 1500. If you need live data for car diagnostics get a 3160.

Eliminates low voltage MIL right out of the box. We left the keys in the car and the battery was dead. I checked the battery and alternator and everything is fine! MIL didn't come back. You can also plot the PID which is very helpful. Once you've selected the PID you want to monitor, simply press the back button on the device and it will switch to real-time graph display mode. Press return again and it will switch back to live numeric data. Great device, I should have bought it sooner!

This is the second diagnostic tool I have purchased from Revain. The first I came back the next day. The Innova 3150f arrived today in just two days. Love it, connects instantly to my 2011 Ford Edge. Next, my wife has a 2004 Honda Civic. If I don't edit my review then everything went fine. Can't give five stars because at this price point the case and manual should be included, not them. The user manual is available online. By the way, batteries are not included.

The user manual you downloaded does not match the scanner. The instructions don't work. I downloaded RepairSolutions2 which installs but does nothing. I cannot connect the scanner to my computer. When using this scanner you may think you have a vacuum leak in your engine. It's more than likely that the loud suction noise is coming from this 3150RS. I ended up borrowing a $49 scanner from a friend and it worked. I will never buy an Innova product again. By the way, I paid $169 for this doorstop.

I bought it because the advert said 'ABS/SRS: read and clear ABS (anti-lock braking system) and SRS airbag (Supplemental Restraint System). System) comes on on MOST 1996 and newer OBD2 vehicles - Domestic, Asian (import), European vehicles" but it doesn't have an ABS/SRS option when connected to my Mercedes but it does on my Honda. You need to fix the display. The rest of the system is impressive. I hate that they messed up the description, wish they were more careful.

A good OBDII scanner that can read multiple manufacturer codes for my car which is why I originally bought this unit. However, the down arrow feature was spirited from the start and is the reason for the one star rating. Sometimes the device beeps when you press the down arrow key and the on-screen cursor/selection moves down as expected, while sometimes the device beeps but the on-screen cursor/selection remains unchanged.
