Innovative Marine Custom Caddy with Purity Pack Filter Media – Optimal Filtration Solution Review

Fits easily in my NUVO Fusion 20. I bought two, sponge filter on one side and refugium in the middle with sponge on top and bottom on the other. Cleaning is easy as everything is disassembled, algae are also easily removed from the surfaces.

Carbon was dusty and GFO was VERY dusty. Rinsed the GFO for almost 15 minutes but the water was still not completely clear. The cart itself is great, you can adjust the size of the layers (where the media goes). It's heavy and durable. The upper medium is extremely dense and appears to be of excellent quality.

This tote is definitely a reasonable price for what you get, it's really well built and easy to use and change with removable shelves. Definitely recommend them to anyone with Innovation Marine Nuvo tanks and they are of great help with any filter media or filter thread you might want to use!

I ordered the first one which arrived broken in more than 5 places in the container along with the entire contents of the plastic bag carrier so the top of the broken container was covered in charcoal and GFO dust. I ordered a replacement and the second one broke too. 2 1/2 weeks later I am caddy free.

Works as it should. My only issue is that the clear plastic is about 16 inches shorter in width. So it doesn't fit at all. It should slide in the groove. But it's short enough that you can just put it in place. Then pinch the top to hold everything in place when you install it in your aquarium's chamber.

I use filter thread and Chemipure Blue for GFO and charcoal so I don't have to run the GFO reactor. Haven't seen any sign of PO4 issues since I walked and coral is growing + clear water. I removed one of the spacers to accommodate the 5.5 ounce media. Otherwise, this is a great replacement for regular filter socks. Remove and replace the filter thread and continue. Doesn't need to be washed! No reactor leaks or maintenance work. If you want an easy and clean setup with AIO, this is a must!

The product itself looks like it will work great once I get a real working product. I ordered 2 for my Nuvo 20 but one had a broken leg. I went ahead and made a return and ordered a replacement. When replacing, there was a problem with the width; it was too wide for the shelves. Sure, it's only a few millimeters, but the shelves don't sit properly. This causes everything on the shelf to fall onto the next. So of the 3 ordered only 1 is in good condition.
